Everyone should have received an envelope in the mail
from All-in-One containing the
2012 budget and your first of two bills for your association
dues. The first payment should have already been received by
All-In-One.

The
2012 neighborhood directory is now
available online! (be patient, it may take several seconds to
open once you enter the password). It was just updated November 19,
2011.
To protect privacy, the directory is password protected. Google and
other search engines will not be able to read the information in the
directory and the general public will not be able to open the
document. You must be a resident of this community to obtain
the password to open the directory! A
note was placed in everyone's mailbox on Sunday, October 16th with the password
and a request that you check your information for accuracy and
completeness.
If you have forgotten to submit your name(s), phone number(s) and
email address(es) please do so while it is still on your mind.
The directory will be a "living document" on this web site - meaning
it will be updated whenever necessary. Send any corrections or
missing information to

WE HAVE A FACEBOOK GROUP PAGE! If you are a registered user
of Facebook but haven't already joined our group, please send us a
request from the
Olde England Lake Subdivision Facebook group page. Our Facebook
group page is an extension of this website by allowing users to post
comments, announcements (like "Our pet rabbit has been missing since
this morning. Please call 770-999-9999 if you find it", photos,
videos, etc.

YOU MUST HAVE APPROVAL
BEFORE beginning any architectural or landscaping
projects or placing play-sets, swings, etc. in your yard or

PENS (Police Email Notification System)
is a service provided by our local police precincts to
inform residents about community issues, crime prevention,
and safety tips.
What
you and your neighbors can do:
Do
not post your vacation plans on Facebook or other social
media sites and frequently remind your teens of the same.
When you let everyone know when you are leaving and when you
will be back, you are providing valuable information to a
potential thief.
Please remember to remove your valuables from your vehicles
and take them inside at night and lock your cars! If you are
going somewhere and plan to leave your valuables in your
car, please secure them out of sight before you arrive. Do
not broadcast to everyone that you are placing valuables in
your trunk.
Please continue to call 911
anytime you see someone suspicious in your neighborhood.
School is out for the summer and this is the time when we
see an increase in daytime residential burglaries and
nighttime residential entering autos. If you see anyone on
foot in your neighborhood that you do not recognize or
someone you do recognize that appears to be behaving
suspiciously, please call and let an officer check it out.

Register
your phone number for CodeRED
emergency notification
Cobb County is launching a reverse-911 system called CodeRED
high-speed notification solution. On Monday, Feb. 1, the
system called every land line registered in the county
encouraging people to register by visiting
cobbcounty.org/911
and clicking on the CodeRED
Reverse 911 Registration tab. The system affords the ability
to communicate time sensitive messages to targeted areas or
the entire county. This will be especially helpful in
delivering important information during an emergency.
The system is only as effective as the telephone number
database supporting it, so residents are strongly encouraged
to add their home and mobile phone numbers. All businesses
should register, as well as residents who have unlisted
numbers, changed their phone numbers or addresses within the
past year or those who use cell phones or VoIP phones as
their primary numbers. It is important to register cell
phone numbers as well. The information provided will only be
used for emergency notification purposes. To register, visit

Friends of Price Park
"My name is Terry
Scoville. I am a resident of Amberwood Creek subdivision
just around the corner from OEL. I would like to share
some information about a relatively new Cobb County Park and
a non-profit friend group that has just formed to support
this new park.
Leone Hall Price Park
is about a 8/10 mile from Acworth Due West on Stilesboro.
It is 127 acres of forest and meadows and has Allatoona
Creek running through it. The Friends of Price park is a
501c3 non-profit organization that is reaching out to the
local community to create awareness of the park as well as
seek support of developing the park as it was intended - a
passive park that will be somewhat of a nature preserve for
the community.

Olde England Lake is
one of the closest subdivisions to Price Park so I am
hopeful OEL residents will find the park a great resource

Property
owners can register burglar alarms without penalty
Cobb County residents and business owners who have
unregistered burglar alarms can still register them without
penalty. However, if an unregistered alarm goes off before
then, its owner can face fines and penalties under the
county ordinance. The alarm ordinance went into effect in
January and about 33,000 people have registered so far, but
there are an estimated 45,000 burglar alarm users in Cobb,
according to officials. Motor vehicle or boat alarms and
alarms designed to call medical personnel do not have to be
registered. Registration gives police contact information in
case of emergency. Registration is free and can be completed
online at
cobbpolice.com. For more information, call the False

COBB COUNTY NEWS!
Congestion relief
coming to northwest Cobb
Cobb County recently
broke ground on the much-anticipated Big Shanty Extension; a
two-mile roadway designed to provide significant congestion relief
for the northwest sector of Cobb. Through a partnership of the
Georgia Department of Transportation, Cobb DOT, the Town Center Area
Community Improvement District, Kennesaw State University and the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, phase III began construction
in the fall, phase I began construction in January and phase II is
scheduled to begin in 2011. The total project should be completed by
